I write regular pieces that deal with pressing political issues, current debates on theology and culture, and ressourcement from our rich Protestant heritage.

I'm the editor of RealClear's American Civics portal.

I handled all communications for Life Issues Institute, a pro-life organization dedicated to educating the pro-life grassroots. I edited and wrote social media posts, weekly op-eds, fliers, grassroots emails, grant reports, and all copy for lifeissues.org. I also served as the managing editor of a quarterly newsletter, Life Issues Connector. Additionally, I helped record daily, 60-second radio commentaries that air on nearly 1,200 stations nationwide.

I wrote weekly op-eds on current politics and broader cultural and philosophical themes.

I helped edit a large volume containing information on state and federal courts.

As a research assistant to David Azerrad, I wrote ten op-eds and helped edit essays and op-eds written Dr. Azerrad and Arthur Milikh, Associate Director. My main focus was conducting research that served as the basis of a Heritage report, "Does Rising Income Inequality Threaten Democracy?" Additionally, I took on administrative duties, which included tracking publications and media appearances by the Center's scholars, coordinating with Heritage staff in running an education program for junior congressional staffers, and speaking to groups of students who showed interest in interning at the Heritage Foundation.

I helped transcribe and tabulate documents that are included in the 18th document volume of Winston S. Churchill’s papers.

I served as a legislative aide for State Rep. Andy Thompson (95th District). I handled all duties in the office including tracking legislation, scheduling, and constituent services. I also wrote speeches, press releases, and columns. I interacted daily with caucus staff, lobbyists, members of trade associations, and legislative liaisons.In the summer of 2012, I also served as a legislative aide to State Rep. Dave Hall (70th District). In that capacity, I helped run the House Agriculture and Natural Resources Committee.

The Legislative Service Commission Fellowship is a 13 month program available to college graduates that is designed to provide work experience within the legislative branch. During my time in the program, I worked for Senators Jim Hughes, Gary Cates, and Mark Wagoner. My duties included memo writing for the Senate State and Local Government and Senate Education Committees, working on constituent cases, writing letters regarding a wide range of constituent concerns, answering phones, and representing the Senators at various special committees and statehouse functions.

I helped update the APR website by adding contact information and policy positions for candidates running in the 2008 election.

I worked at the Breen Technology Center in Cleveland during the summer of 2006, winter and summer of 2007, and winter of 2008. I worked with my supervisor - and sometimes independently - to complete various projects.
