For close to two decades, Mike Sal has produced, engineered, and written with music's biggest artists (including Parliament Funkadelic, J. Geils Band, Drake, Ciara, The-Dream, Rachel Platten) and works as a creative consultant for production companies, live performance venues, and music studios across the world. Supporting a commitment to education, Mike guides 21st century digital literacy/music enrichment & exploration courses nationally and internationally.His career began hosting a radio show while attending Phillips Exeter Academy, which led to studies at Hampshire College in music, marketing and graphic design. Through his production and publishing company and boutique record label, Land of ADM and Wheelock House Publishing, he continues to support music, content curation and education. He is a board member for Georgia Music Industry Association (GMIA), an advocate for music development and education and has been a featured speaker at universities sharing and exploring his experience at a high-performance boarding school when diagnosed with ADHD and dyslexia. Mike speaks on panels focusing on Music and Film. As a music outreach educator, he works with children across all demographics including locally, with recurring music workshops as an artist in residence leading intensives sponsored by the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, AT&T, and Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed, expanding experiences of inner-city youth. He leads music enrichment programs at schools, elementary through high school, around the world.As a performing artist, Mike Sal composes, writes and performs acoustic sets and DJ formats. His song, Even, was featured as the soundtrack to the award winning documentary, ‘Speed of Fencing’.Mike's work over the years has kept him a first call in Film and Television for company's such as Walt Disney, Paramount, National Geographic, Netflix, AMC, as well as Youtube's biggest personalities and creators.
