My career has been about building and leading technology companies from startup to IPO and beyond. After gaining valuable management experience at Hewlett-Packard, I co-founded and served as CEO and Director of PLX Technology, a company providing digital semiconductors for data center and enterprise applications. We built the company to over $100M in annual revenues, completed an Initial Public Offering and acquired five other semiconductor companies. Thanks to the market leading position we achieved in our technology sector, we sold the company to Broadcom/Avago. The most rewarding part of the process for me is working with the founders and leaders of new companies and helping them develop their skills and overcome their challenges. Therefore, since the acquisition of PLX I have invested in start-ups and served as a consultant to CEOs and Boards of venture capital-backed technology companies. Areas of focus include recruiting and developing management teams, strategy development, financial planning and preparing for IPO or sale. One of these companies, Analogix, was sold for $500M in cash. Another, Scaleflux is leading a breakthrough in data center computing and storage architectures. I have also served in multiple Director roles in public technology companies including Chairman of the Board, lead director, chair of compensation and strategic committees and audit, litigation, cybersecurity and nominating committee member. My experiences as a CEO, director, shareholder and employee of technology companies has allowed me to understand many perspectives and helps me be a more effective director and advisor.
