Demonstrating leadership, I mentored team members and presented both lo-fi and hi-fi prototypes to engage upper management, team members, and stakeholders in the design process.Furthermore, I designed innovative jail management systems that improved inmate care and facilitated efficient tracking of personal information, resulting in a 5% increase in revenue for Aventiv. I also developed a web app that allowed incarcerated individuals to securely access and retrieve their digital assets upon release, adding value to Aventiv's product ecosystem. On a daily basis, I integrated user-friendly functionality into Aventiv's customer-facing products, delivering an enhanced user experience. Additionally, I collaborated closely with Aventiv's administrative services to integrate new functionality into legacy applications, achieving significant time and cost savings.

Led a team of UX and UI designers in the development of "Optix," a comprehensive call center support application for Verizon. Our goal was to create a user-centric design that prioritized the needs of both call center agents and customers. By incorporating adaptive and responsive design, AI learning, and chatbot functionalities, we were able to create a truly innovative product that received recognition with a CIO award. Optix revolutionized Verizon's call center support by reducing support calls by 30% and empowering agents to quickly troubleshoot customer issues, saving time and enabling them to support a greater number of customers in a single day

Oversaw the product design, ensured product integrity, and spearheaded the development of Verizon's flagship wireline product, Fios, into the next generation of products and services. As part of this initiative, I successfully launched Fios's ecosystem across various cross-platform products and services, including TV, CE Platforms, Web, Android, and iOS devices. This expansion enabled the introduction of new Fios services, such as multi-platform on-demand video, virtual DVR, cross-platform social media integration, messaging, account profile management, and billing capabilities.

Led the design, management, and promotion of a comprehensive Digital Workplace for Verizon's wireline business units. The aim was to address the issues of overlooked emails and disconnected agendas, which were causing inefficiencies and disorganization in the workplace. To tackle this challenge, I actively participated in establishing an in-house design studio, eliminating the need to rely on external design firms and saving the company valuable resources.

Created and implemented a cohesive and user-friendly IT department intranet for a fast-paced and collaborative environment. This intranet effectively replaced department emails and phone calls, streamlining day-to-day activities. The system provided upper management with a convenient and traceable method to communicate important information regarding training, support, and IT projects to associates.
