Director of Operations for Benefit Management Services (a wholly owned non-branded subsidiary of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Louisiana) since 2002. Responsible for the oversight of claims, eligibility, billing, customer service, audit, plan build, check generation, subrogation, network repricing, and stop loss claims management and filings for self funded groups. This entity is transitioning into the parent company's ASO unit entitled Blue Benefit Services (BBS) where we will manage the primary operational functions of all self funded business for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Louisiana.Serving as a facilitator in our cultural transition initiative to train the entire company in how to become more accountable and to achieve the desired results.

Responsible for all operational ares including claims, customer service, membership, billing and stop loss.

Began with The Travelers in New Orleans in their group claims department. After 9 years went to Lafayette, La for a start up locally owned TPA where I was involved in everything from sales to claims processing. From there went to Baton Rouge, La to Executive Risk Consultants for another 9 years where I managed the operational area as well as participated in the sales, quote generation and service of clients.
