- Safety, completing daily hazard assessments, completing weekly tool box meetings and enforcing the use of PPE- Oversee the construction of, rear detached homes, front attached single and double garage homes, rear detached duplex, front attached duplex and street side town homes- Oversee construction from stake/excavation through to occupancy- Complete city / municipal inspections at each required stage of construction, ensure deficiencies found are corrected prior to moving to the next stage of construction- Knowledge and understanding of Alberta building and safety codes- Scheduling and Maintaining trade schedules and build deadlines to ensure on time delivery of the houses- Quality control inspections completed on all trade work to ensure highest levels of industry standards are achieved- Leading customer meetings such as home start conferences, rough in walkthroughs, pre occupancy meetings, home owner orientations and key turn over- Issuing variance purchase orders and work orders- Managing a team of site assistants​

- Installing both gas and wood burning fireplaces- Manage install helper and schedule day- Minor framing and finishing carpentry- Knowledge and understanding of gas and fire codes- Extensive knowledge of power tools, chain saw, reciprocating saw, power drill, hammer drill, skill saw and pneumatic nail guns
