I earned a degree in Meteorology in 2003 and a graduate certificate in Geographic Information Science in 2011. I've been a Math and Science teacher for several organizations, including Astrocamp and The Eugene Science Center. In addition, I've been an Aviation Weather Observer at the Eugene Airport for 14.5 years. I provide weather observations for pilots, Air Traffic Control, and The National Weather Service. I was the supervisor at this office for 11 years. I desired to reduce my hours to part-time at this location to focus on creative pursuits. My main focus is on writing and producing films and plays. I'm an award-winning Filmmaker, Comedian, Playwright, Director, and Actor. I have written and performed in over 70 comedy sketches. As a Producer at The Community TV Station of Lane County, I have also written and produced 15 comedic short films. I have also directed two 10-minute plays at Lane Community College, and I directed a ten-minute play at The Oregon Contemporary Theater. Finally, I produced 8 plays; I was selected to produce a 45-minute play to perform at the 2022 World Athletics Championships. It was an entertaining time-travel play called "Phil and Ted's Excellent Adventure".I've combined my interests in entertainment and education by creating two shows: "Good Times Great Places" and "Hey! Learn This!" "Good Times Great Places" has been a show where I've travelled to many exciting places and created entertaining educational shows. I talk about the Geology, Meteorology, History, etc. of those places. "Hey! Learn This!" is a show similar to "The Magic School Bus" in the sense it teaches a variety of subjects through fun narrative adventure stories.
