At Corus I was promoted to create and lead our multiplatform local business responsible for 265 employees, 10 direct reports in 23 offices across Canada

Responsible for National & Local Sales for four stations in the Vancouver market. Included both national and client direct strategies/tactics, delivering revenue targets (30m+) & outpacing market radio/digital market growth and 18 direct reports. My accomplishments include: • Won Samurai Award at Corus for Innovation linked to development of sponsorship strategy that was cascaded through all Corus Radio• Developed built and executed a business plan, which included accessing $100k to hire Twentyten Group to assist in developing strategy that continues to deliver results in the millions on an annualized basis. • Consistently outpaced local and national market growth and achieved revenue targets by 5-10% annually

Some of my key achievements during this time include:• Sales Manager for FM Radio Stations responsible for local revenue growth and outpacing market growth• Led sales for 2 heritage market leading radio stations (CFOX & CFMI) with a team of 8 Account Managers • Responsible for rights management with Vancouver Canucks & BC Lions that led to record revenues (2.8m in 2006) and broadcast rights renewal in 2004• Development of ancillary revenue opportunities outside of play-by-play broadcasts
