I provided vital, in-depth investigation and analysis in the areas of customer service, productivity, and Public Utilities Commission compliance for all departments in Nevada Network Operations (Installation & Repair, Construction & Engineering, Special Services, Switching, Rural Operations, and Network Operation Centers) for AT&T Nevada. I accomplished this primarily by building queries in SQL and Business Objects in order to acquire data and then investigating and analyzing the data after it’s been gathered. I then produced appropriate recommendations for improvement when necessary in accordance with local union practices, regulatory policies, and business rules.I was the single point of contact for all Call Center Projects, new system implementation, Regulatory and External Affairs. I was responsible for troubleshooting system issues and training employees on the use of new systems. I interfaced with IT departments in California for all new system configurations and implementation into Nevada. I was also the Local Security Administrator and LAN manager for various Company Computer Systems and shared drives for all AT&T employees in the State of Nevada. I was the 271 Performance Manager for Installation and Maintenance. I ensured that AT&T Nevada complied with all rules of the State’s Public Utilities Commission with regard to performance measures and competition. In my final 2 years with AT&T, our Center lost 4 managers and I directly supervised 40 Maintenance Administrators who completed service orders, routed orders to technicians, and dispatched pair gain and light-span technicians.I indirectly supervised and supported an additional 40 call-center personnel (Dispatch, EWO, MLAC, RCMC, TNAC), and 90 field technicians. I was the West Coast Representative for AT&T’s Veteran’s Organization and maintained the organization’s intranet website (Cold Fusion and a SQL Database)

Several key accomplishments were:• I developed Methods and Procedures to reduce Net Bad Debt across all of SBC’s affiliates (Advanced Solutions Inc, Cingular Wireless, SBC Long Distance, SBC Datacomm, etc) in order to protect company revenue. • I performed weekly in-depth investigations and analysis of adjustments, write-offs and aging and made recommendations for process improvements.• I performed monthly in-depth analysis of bad debt and write-offs to make improvements in areas such as customer service, productivity, and compliance with Tariffs. • I investigated and identified fraudsters and discovered patterns which identified instances of modem fraud.• I rewrote Methods and Procedures for SBC Datacomm with regard to delayed and incorrect invoices and purchase orders. This act enabled the company to recover an average of $6 million per month from the aging bucket.I used a variety of tools in my job such as Microsoft Access, Excel, Power Point, Business Objects and the Telegence Billing system. I wrote queries to extract data and then conducted investigations and analyzed the data. I presented my results in Microsoft Excel format and Word Documents at the VP Level. My reports and analysis were used to uncover patterns of fraud in 13 states as well as to make recommendations on net bad debt and adjustment reduction for all AT&T and SBC Affiliates and Credit and Collections. My additional duties included being the Local Security Administrator for various Company Computer Systems and LAN Administrator for Billing and Finance. I built and maintained the organization’s intranet website.

Primarily my applications were dedicated to event registration and a detailed reporting structure for the event planners. I developed significant web based interfaces which allowed the clients to maintain their own Web Applications and generate their own reports; a strong emphasis was placed on writing reusable code and developing a user friendly interface. The emphasis for this work group was specifically Quick-Hit applications with a lifecycle of less than 60 days, however I also worked on 5 critical long-term projects.I used various tools and programming languages, such as HTML, ASP, Active Server Pages, JavaScript, VB Script, Cold Fusion, SQL, Java, Access, SQL Server, C++, Vantive, IBM Websphere, XML, XSLT, FLASH, Shockwave, Adobe Photoshop, ORACLE, .NET, and CMDS. I have performed as a database administrator on many applications.
