Charged with building both the Grocery and Club Channel for Kettle Cuisine. Reporting directly to the CEO, I ‘m responsible for developing effective sales strategies that drive distribution within these channels as well as the strategic growth plan for the next 3-5 years.

Lead a 10-person team of Regional Sales Managers and Trade Marketing Managers with accountability for $70MM in sales in the natural category (hummus). Cultivate a culture of winning profitably and creatively solving problems that the #2 player encounters in our quest to become the #1 hummus brand nationally.

Charged with developing the Club Channel business for $75MM Hummus and Meat Alternative ethnic food company. Directed, motivated and educated a team of 9 broker managers that grew sales from $0 to +$16MM.Worked cross-functionally with Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance and Food Technology on decisions for all Club items. Sold-in 1st ever distribution to.

• Led 4-person team of National Account Managers in the allocation of $40MM in Trade Marketing monies at complex northeast co-op Retailer and Wholesaler (ShopRite/Price Rite & Wakefern). Yearly top line sales exceeded.
• Transformed an adverse relationship between Kellogg’s and a crucial, high profile account, into a partnership positioned for future growth.
• Team exceeded budget in 2010 by 6% with 2% less promotional dollars

• Created account specific marketing and promotional events at key grocery retailers to drive incremental sales and secure in-store merchandising. Programs focus on Kellogg national properties and brand strategies, high.
• Led and motivated team of 4 direct reports with budget of +$6MM in developing and executing fully integrated profitable retailer specific marketing plans.
• Managed within cross-functional matrix organization of external Field Sales and internal Headquarter Business teams, including Brand Marketing, Promotions, Trade Marketing and Legal, as well as multiple outside.
• Created account specific program at 1000 store retailer that drove +$330k in ‘above & beyond’ net sales during crucial “Back-to-School” period. (“Free Kids Safety phone w/ purchase of 10”)
• Established partnership with 3rd party charity (Habitat for Humanity) at key southeast retailer to drive continuity program around cause related donation offer via comprehensive in-ad print, in-store point-of-sale, PR.
• Closed multicultural consumer opportunity gap at NYC retailers by developing turn key ‘Athlete Meet & Greet’ program. (+$250k annually in sales contribution on high indexing Hispanic skus across 4 retailers)
