In this role, I worked closely with the writers and editors in post-production to ensure a smooth production. I was responsible for running my own department to get additional shots that were needed. One of the ways I improved the processes was by enhancing my coordination skills through experience and observation. I effectively communicated with actors and crew members to ensure the timing and positioning were precise. This helped to reduce the number of takes required for each shot, allowing us to move on to the next shot quickly.Additionally, I read the script and developed creative ideas to present to the director about how to shoot the scene. During rehearsals, I blocked out the actors' positions and worked with the director of photography to ensure the lights were placed appropriately. At the end of the day, it was my responsibility to ensure that we captured everything the director wanted and that the actors performed.
