About Mike Siddall

I am passionate about sustainable innovation and making positive change in people and business through knowledge exchange and collaboration; innovation in a technical sense through the development and introduction of new technologies. But also, innovation in a behavioral sense; encouraging people to move away from habitual ways of operating and towards a more joined up, considered and efficient way of living. A way of living that will be better for both people and planet. As a qualified (APM PMQ) and experience project manager, I have delivered a wide range of projects; taking them from ideas (usually enthusiastic conversations), all the way through scoping and on to delivery. I am naturally optimistic and absolutely believe in dreaming big. However, in order to effectively deliver on projects, I have combined this with strong a pragmatic approach that allows me to accurately scope and plan work orders, to deliver projects on time and within budget. I recognise that not all projects run to plan, and see project management as a dynamic process, that requires continual problem solving to ensure outputs are achieved despite changes in circumstances. A key element of navigating change, and a fundamental of project management, is the ability to build meaningful relationships for open communication. People are the essential element of every project, and the ability to quickly pick up the phone or message a colleague/ client/ partner in order to keep things on track, is invaluable in project delivery.
