Managing the StuRents web platform, dealing with technical support and customer relations as well as acting as an ambassador for the service to students' unions and working to form closer links with landlords.

Ground Control was launched to improve the management and business growth for skydiving centres worldwide. Initially began as purely a day-to-day manifesting service, it expanded to track staff payments, aircraft usage, gear usage and provide an integrated bookings & payment solution for centre's to interact with their customers.Running this business taught me an incredible amount about what it takes to meet customer needs with software, rapidly iterating to add features and support new use cases, all whilst keeping the software operational and the infrastructure reliable.

Decide to learn by doing, building websites for a range of organisations and businesses. Focussed on small enterprises who lacked quality online presence, and specialised in value-add features going beyond regular marketing websites.Through running this business I learned the ups & downs of doing your own thing, making connections and working to meet client expectations. Projects during this time would evolve into my next two ventures, Ground Control & subsequently StuRents.
