About Mike Small

I grew up on Grand Manan Island and have never had a job that was not on the ocean. Once I decided to move on from fishing I knew I still wanted to be on the ocean. I decided to go to the Marine Institute and focus on a career at sea, since then I have been all over the world gathering experience in Ice Navigation, Towing, Research and more. I look for any opportunity, whether it be relief, seasonal but I do prefer to do longer hitches and finish out contract.I currently have 13 years as C/O and have a detailed CV available at request. This is the first time I'm trying out Link-In for work, so my experience shows a large gapped in years, my CV doesn't. I'll be updated my experience here as I go.
