Mike Stapleton is currently serving ISAAC Instruments in the role of Industry Relations. His major role consists of managing the various National and State Trucking Association relationships and sits on various Committees for the ATA, TCA, NTTC and the NPTC. He also works closely with his peers to make sure ISAAC is supporting and working closely with the various State Associations in their respective territories. While working these events it allows Mike to leverage his numerous relationships at the Carrier level to introduce them to ISAAC Instruments and to help put them with existing ISAAC clients to better understand the differentiators that ISAAC provides in safety and improved operational efficiencies.During his forty plus years in the transportation industry, Mike has worked 25 years for Qualcomm/SmartDrive/Omnitracs in Strategic sales roles managing the largest fleets in the country while also managing the State and National Association needs. Prior to this, Stapleton spent 15 years in the LTL space working mainly for Yellow and Watkins Motor Lines (now FedEx Freight).Mike’s father was a traffic manager for a large manufacturer and as a result he started reading Transport Topics when he was 7 years old. Who would have guessed it would have led to a B.S. in Transportation from The University of Tennessee? Mike also played basketball while attending Tennessee and now lives in the transportation mecca of Chattanooga and enjoys family, friends and as much golf and UT games as possible..
