Reporting directly to the CFO, I was responsible for the timely preparation, review, and delivery of the listed company’s financial results on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis to a range of stakeholders such as the Board and shareholders. My responsibilities included:• Multi-jurisdiction financial reporting – Statutory reporting and returns of over 10 entities across Europe (UK, Malta, Cyprus, and Slovenia) and North America (USA and Canada).• Public company reporting – Responsible for the consolidated audited financial reporting (IFRS) of a Nasdaq/TSX dual-listed company on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.• Group treasury management – Including cashflow forecasting, debt financing, and foreign currency management.• Management reporting – Review and production of high quality monthly consolidated management accounts to management and the Board of Directors. Including balance sheet, cashflow and income statement review to forecasts and budget.• Leadership – Management of the group’s financial reporting function including leadership and training of finance teams in sites across Europe and the US. Rapid growth of the business has required that I am adaptable and have a hands-on approach to ensuring the business meets its objectives.• Financial controls – Scoping, developing, maintenance and championing of financial controls at all levels of the business.• Audit – Managing external audits and working in partnership with group and local auditors and the Audit Committee to ensure all financial reports are filed on time to a high standard.• Taxation – Management of the group’s international taxation, including transfer pricing.• M&A – Due diligence on targets, valuation, acquisition accounting and integration of new businesses into the group.• Equity capital maintenance – Examples include securities reporting, share-based compensation valuation, warrant management, stock issuance and modelling of equity incentive plans.

Reporting directly to the CFO, I was responsible for the financial function, based in Uruguay, for Legacy Eight Group which provides B2B lottery software across Europe and Latin America. In preparation for a future IPO, responsibilities included review and optimisation of processes and internal controls, audit and management reporting. Legacy Eight had shared ownership with Bragg Gaming Group and, until Jan 2019, a shared senior finance function.

I lead the UK finance function of Betsson Group upon acquisition of NetPlay TV Group. My responsibilities included consolidating, reviewing and reporting of 9 international entities within the group. Other responsibilities included team management (3 direct reports), budget preparation, cashflow management, payroll and the integration of NetPlay companies into the wider Betsson Group.
