Also adhering to OO principles such as loose coupling, encapsulation and high cohesion.Extensive use of Web 2.0 technologies such as; CSS, AJAX, DHTML and JS frameworks including MooTools, DOJO and Prototype.Provision and consumption of web services and utilisation of JavaBeans to communicate with external financial parties.Highly influential in the design and implementation of a formal code review, code branching and implementation process that ended in the reduction of after release cool-down period from 6 weeks to 2 weeks, due to the significant reduction in defect density.Successfully implemented a major rebrand and functional upgrade to the public account opening and upgrade web application. This included i18n, URL based brand awareness, and a change to the back end payment solution and interface.Awarded the quarterly TD Champion award for excellence in customer delivery for my work on above application.

I was awarded the CIO Award of excellence for my work on delivering this project through difficult technical problems.
