About Mike Such

Not many people work for the same company for 40 years anymore. My dad started working at Hart Schaffner & Marx in 1950 at 20 years old and got me a job there after I graduated from high school. He retired in 1994, and I was able to continue to climb up the ladder, starting as a mere dock worker and making it up to the level of Director of Shipping and Receiving and building lots of relationships along the way. I earned the respect of my peers and continued to work hard and help out wherever needed even on days I was in a dress shirt and tie. I have a lot of history from the past 40 years at Hart's, and I'd like to build on those achievements, continue to learn and grow and be a part of a company which has the same hard-working values that have been instilled in me my entire life. It's not easy looking for a new job after 40 years, but I'm looking forward to a new beginning and becoming a valued asset to a new team. Qualifications Summary:-Continuously went above and beyond duties at every job level, cross-training in 6 departments, while staying up to date on company process changes-Pinpointed an opportunity to reduce costs by at least $20,000 per year by creating and implementing a simple process change-Steered company through two complicated re-organization processes cost cutting $80,000 with minimal staff loss-Involved member of the safety committee during the longest period of time the distribution center went accident free (625 days) and increased awareness of safety measure by hanging multiple signs throughout the warehouse
