Responsible for the development and execution of the Plastics and Rubber sourcing strategy for the entire TSV global enterprise. Direct the strategic planning to better leverage the TSV commodity spend. Key responsibilities include optimization of the supply base, raw material and finished goods negotiations and raw material consolidations.

Manage the direction of strategic sourcing for a $35M plastic commodity including the decorating (Paint / Hydrographic) of the same. Identified sourcing initiatives by analyzing spend and prioritizing based on impact and risk.

Responsible for identifying, qualifying, developing, and managing the supply base for parts within the plastic commodity group. Negotiate purchase order agreements, implement and administer contracts, coordinate supplier certification programs, resolve supplier issues, and support supply management concepts, goals and procedures.Currently responsible for the following areas: Injection Molding, Blow Molding, UHMW Compression Molding, UHMW Extrusions, Body Plastic Finishing (Paint / Hydrographic) and CVT Belts.Projects & Results:-Effectively manage a $35M spend in a fast paced recreational vehicle market.-Achieved $500,000 year over year cost savings by identifying and following thruwith VAVE opportunities.-Managed $8-$12M annually in production tooling utilizing domestic and LLCopportunities for an average savings of 30% while maintaining an aggressivedelivery schedule.-Managed successful tooling launches for 10 new vehicle platforms.-Developed a returnable packaging system which reduced shipping damage to lessthan 0.3%.-Reduced line down or build without situations by 90% over a 3 year time period.

Engineering Manager:Responsible for supervising CAD/CAM staff in the design and programming of plastic injection and die cast tooling. Working directly with regarding technical issues that might include altering design to suit the injection and casting process. Other job responsibilities included hiring qualified personal, participating in continuing improvement programs and recommending software and hardware purchases.Product Designer:Work close with customers to develop individual parts as well as complex assemblies utilizing both Solid Works and Pro Engineer. Coordinating of prototypes to be constructed by outside suppliers.Mold/Die Designer:Utilize Solid Works and Mold Works to design both prototype and production tooling.

Responsible for supervising CAD/CAM staff in the design and programming of plastic injection and die cast tooling. Other job requirements included producing tool designs, hiring qualified personal, performing coaching sessions with staff and participating in continuous improvement programs.

Responsible for design and development of production Powder Metal Tooling, including product requirements, material specifications, press limitations and deflection analysis. Other job requirements included estimating, programming CNC equipment and routing work orders for the shop.
