As a travel broker, my role is to provide you with a highly bespoke service to support your travel needs. With almost 10 years’ experience at Air New Zealand specialising in premium leisure and corporate travel management, you can rest assured that you will be well taken care of. During my time at Air New Zealand, I have worked with local and international celebrities, prominent business people, former Heads of Government, as well as many members of the airline’s invitation-only frequent flyer group. Having travelled extensively myself, I have first-hand knowledge of many destinations, airlines, and suppliers, which is often invaluable to my clients. Furthermore, my time at Air New Zealand and the nature of my clients meant that I built some of the most complex itineraries in existence. In my role at Air New Zealand, I was responsible for our corporate accounts which were in partnership with American Express Global Business Travel. Many of our clients were global financial institutions, professional services firms, and pharmaceutical businesses. My role was to service these accounts whilst ensuring each individual traveller's bookings were in compliance with their employer's policies. Furthermore, due to my knowledge and passion for compliance, I was the designated compliance trainer for our team. My role was to ensure our team was trained in compliance issues, such as the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (USA), Bribery Act (UK), New Zealand legislation, and US pharmaceutical compliance.

In addition to my role, I am an Emergency Recorder in Air New Zealand's Group Emergency Management Team (GEMT). The purpose of this role is to assist in recording an emergency should one take place, as well as ensuring the instructions of the GEMT Chairman are distributed accurately. I also assist in emergency exercises. Furthermore, part of the scope of this role is to be an advocate for business continuity and crisis management within my business unit. As such, I have developed a sound understanding of risk mitigation strategies as well as contingency planning.

In my role as a Direct Sales Consultant, I specialised in sales and enquiry servicing to high-value external customers. In addition to this, I had an additional role which was the fulfilment of the Executive Travel programme. In this role, I was responsible for organising the personal travel arrangements of Air New Zealand's C-suite executives and Board of Directors. I built close relationships with them during my tenure and was able to successfully plan their trips, as well as mitigate the logistical challenges that inevitably arise with VIP internal customers and their travel.
