As a durability development engineer at Chrysler, he is the “go to” engineer for data acquisitions and rig test development. From the simplest project to the most complicated and problematic rig tests, Mike displays both a calm demeanor and project perspective that comes with his solid technical knowledge and experience. He has the trust of his management and coworkers, and his expertise has been recognized and utilized internationally within the company (Germany, Italy, China, Brazil). His support of the wider engineering community is demonstrated by his ongoing participation in SAE. The current format of our session at the SAE World Congress, Session M104 – Automotive Engineering Testing and Test Methods, was the product of numerous conversations between Mike and myself as well as our desire to see more sessions devoted to engineering testing and test methods. Since I left Chrysler in 2008, Mike and I have continued our partnership in this effort and our support of the SAE MM&T (Materials, Modeling and Testing) Committee.
