I am a hands on Project Leader with over 40 years of diverse offshore and onshore international experience in the independent sector of the oil and gas industry, developing and operating oil and gas fields. Working in the Independent sector means always having a very intense focus on cost and value for money.The wide range of jobs I've done means I've developed a broad understanding of all aspects of oil and gas field development from the reservoir and subsurface through well construction, subsea, topsides processing, facilities engineering, export, marketing and commercial negotiation.I consider my key skills to be leading, motivating and coaching multi-disciplined and multi-national project teams to deliver results safely and efficiently, getting the most out of the oil and gas supply chain and building long term trusting relationships with all stakeholders in a project.I've worked in some interesting countries including Mexico, Trinidad and Tobago, Venezuela, Colombia, Vietnam, Italy and Brazil as well as the North Sea.My career highlights have been leading the teams delivering Chestnut Development for Venture Production, the Chim Sao Development for Premier Oil offshore Vietnam and most recently the Stella Development for Ithaca Energy in the North Sea.
