4/2021: This past year has been rollercoaster for most, and as the ebb and flow of the world was disrupted, I was amidst my first job as a project engineer for American Modular Power Solutions. Since the start of my first project at AMPS (Sept. 2019), I have been tasked with assignments that keep me on target to meet my short-, medium-, and long-term goals below. Working within the EPC process of interconnection facilities has deepened my understanding and appreciation for all facets of the construction process from design and fabrication through commissioning and operation. The unique experience I get as a project manager for a small company in the power industry is invaluable. I have grown and applied skillsets that make me more effective in my role including troubleshooting design issues, estimating and budgeting for project costs, coordinating procurement through our supply chain, subcontract management, construction site management, communicating with teams of vendors, site techs, subcontractors, foreman, and owners, and meeting project deadlines safely, on time, and on budget. I look forward to improving upon the processes and execution of AMPS future projects! My short/medium term goals are continuing to develop my PM skills with real world experiences and working towards higher education. I also am passionate about improving processes, optimization, automation, and facilitating decision making and hope to implement these kinds of strategies in every role I'm in. My long term goal is to continue focusing on clean energy solutions, whether it be specializing in the construction of HV interconnection facilities or one of the many other challenges that present itself in the climate change endeavor.I graduated from Lehigh University's IBE Honors program in January 2019 with two degrees: B.S. Mechanical Engineering and B.S. Integrated Business and Engineering - Finance. I am usually asked "Do you want to be an engineer or take a financial track?" The title of a role for me is less important than the objectives that role aims to accomplish. I've developed a great appreciation for both disciplines over the course of my studies. I enjoy problem solving, and look to make meaningful impacts wherever I go. I think airplanes are wildly fascinating, while the intricacies of the stock market are just as complex and cool. The interdisciplinary track has given me a greater appreciation for a breadth of different topics, and have allowed me to make connections between ideas and converse with friends, family, and colleagues as a well-rounded individual.
