I assumed the ‘single point contact’ for larger works, ensuring work pack documentation recorded in SAP and played an active role in leading prestart meetings, providing insight to planning and safety meetings. I enjoyed liaising with and supervising external contractors, engaging with company vendors and regularly reviewed and updated safe work procedures and machine records.Above and beyond daily tasks, I was proud to have:• Led teams of 20 – 30 multi-disciplinary members (E&I, Mechanical, Welders, Scaffolders and Plumbers) for both outages and maintenance days conducting up to 100 jobs within the planned period, meeting timelines, maintenance budgets and ensuring zero incidents• Partnered with Accountant to develop hourly spend on production of GRAN-AM, identifying lost production cost of $5600 loss ph. Providing team members with visibility of this figure increased productivity, as team members could see their decisions directly impacting uptime and therefor the bottom line • Built and implemented a "Product Hardness" indicator machine that became the yard stick used for product quality of granulated products in a time of high market competition.
