Future advanced electric propulsion systems for underwater and hostile environmentsThe business was founded in Conwy North Wales after successfully securing European funding via the Welsh Assembly. Working on small scale advanced electric propulsion driven ROV's to conduct environmental work, I built and managed a small team rapidly growing the commercial elements to support clients throughout Europe with customers including Halcro, Associated British Ports, Mitras Tekra, Tata plus many other valued clients. Armagard Group of companies were purchased with the intention of rapid short-term growth both in the UK, & overseas.• Responsible for advancement and leadership of sales teams through to the UK and Europe• Documented individual Company growth of up to 400%/annum as part of the top-level management team. Tasked with affecting this growth through sales of Industrial Computer Equipment & Solutions, Engineered Solutions & Intellectual Consultancy in the UK, Europe & Eire, to include companies: Airbus, EDF, Rolls-Royce Aero Engines, Westland Helicopters, etc.• Built customer base from 20 to over 300 including tier 1 and 2 businesses throughout the UK and Europe.• My role encompassed the development of various companies within the group such as Guardian Ltd from the point of purchase to successful sale. • Reporting directly to the company chairman, I am accountable for the companies’ biggest and most successful account wins including Ford worldwide (sole supplier), British Aerospace, Northern Foods, etc. • I am responsible for winning and maintaining the company’s largest contracts to date.
