My responsibilities at K5 includes the full spectrum from Sales and Estimating to Fabrication, machining and delivery of Heavy Engineering components, combined with the financial control of the Company. In my role I report to the CEO and owner directly. I was tasked with the Turnaround of the Company, implementing new procedures and equipment to improve profitability by increasing efficiencies and reducing cost. With this turnaround completed, focus has now turned to continuous improvement, strategic development and growing our Sales footprint.

Genwest is a Steel and Insustrial Services Company also specializing in the provision on Contract and Project Managment Services.Genwest has made significant inroads into the provision of materials and solutions for wear material applications for a variety of Clients, apart from the traditional service center activities like supply, profile cut ( Laser, Hi Def Plasma and Flame-cutting), bending, rolling and welding of items to all Customers.Genwest has successfully Managed a number of Projects.

During my 1 year as Interim and appointed CEO of The Efficient Engineering Group of Companies I was tasked by the shareholders to increase the profitability of the Group during a period where the traditional turnover for the Group has reduced significantly. During this year we implemented processes and procedures to reduce cost and inefficiencies, whilst increasing productivity and quality which reduced re-work which all lead to increased margins. This resulted in a year to year improvement of R40 m in EBITDA and cash flow.

Overall management responsibility of the Group Of Companies

As Managing Director I am responsible for the overall Management of Efficient Trotech. I rely on an experienced Executive Team of Directors covering Operations, Technical, Finance, Sales and Marketing spheres in the execution of my duties. Efficient Trotech was formed after Efficient Engineering acquired the assets, employees and various projects from Trotech Engineering out of Business Rescue. We since have successfully completed some and are wrapping up other Projects acquired. We have also been successful in a number of new projects we have been contracted for and are currently executing new and maintenance projects in 8 locations on the African Continent. Efficient Trotech specialises in the Manufacturing and Construction of Bulk Storage Tanks for a variety of Clients.

My responsibilities included all Operational areas within all Workshops of the Company. The respective General Managers of the Phases and Quality Manager reported to me re Operational performance which includes Safety, Quality and Delivery commitments. Following the acquisition of Trotech Engineering by Efficient Engineering I was moved to the new Company Efficient Trotech.

Providing Consultation on Manufacturing and Operational activities.

Manage the Company's Fabrication Facilities with focus on their main Facility in Chamdor where we specialise in pre-fabrication of pipe spools, Tanks, Pressure Vessels and Heat Exchangers for the Petrochemical, Power Generation and Mining Sectors. This includes the Financial control of Budgets and Cost. Fully responsible for the profitability of the Facility including the finalization and approval of all tenders. I took the lead in obtaining ISO 3834 Certification for the Facility in Feb 2012. We have also reduced manpower by 55% whilst the output increased 250% since I started with Kentz. This was obtained through production flow improvements, new equipment and other improvements. We have also obtained approval to the Sasol Vendor list for the supply of Pressure Vessels and Heat Exchangers.

Heavy Fabrication for the Power Generation and Petrochemical industries. During my occupation at Steinmuller I had direct involvement on the work they did for the Boilers on the Medupi/Kusile project. This involved improvement in the production output of Boiler Vertical walls, Superheater-, Economizer- and Reheater Coils/Panels. The work also included the supply of Headers and connectors for this Projects. During my time here we reduced manpower levels by around 33% and increased the output significantly. This was done by introducing production flow improvements, introduction of new equipment and improving communication in IR

Heavy Fabrication for the Power Generation and Petrochemical Industries. Including Boilers, Heat Exchangers, Pressure Vessels and Process Columns. The position included the Financial and Commercial control at the Facility and on Projects. In my position as General Manager I reported directly to the CEO- Mr Heinz Spreitzer. I started with DB Thermal as Quality Manager Nigel Works and was promoted to Group Quality Manager in September 1992. In 1998 I took over as Production Manager for 8 months before I was promoted to Works Manager. Due to major growth within the company I was promoted to General Manger Nigel Works in 2008. The Facility expanded dramatically over the last 3 years I was there to be able to do the manufacturing of the Boiler pressure parts for the Medupi and Kusile Power Station Projects. This included the planning and construction of a 14000 square meter workshop with 10 overhead cranes and state of the art equiment imported from Finland. This workshop including all equipment was constructed and commissioned in a period of 11 months only. During my time here I visited several Manufacturing Facilities over the world. This includes Facilities in the USA, United Kingdom, Germany, France, India, Thailand, Japan, Belgium, Austria, Poland, Holland and Italy

In control of the complete Quality Control Department which included 10 QC Inspectors and NDE Manager and NDE Technicians. During this period I was responsible for all activities in respect to Quality Control. This included the quality Control and design interfaces with the Design and QA Departments for Vessels, Heat Exchangers, Draglines, Stacker Reclaimers and various process piping. This included the QC on induction bended heavy wall piping, piping fabrication and fabrication of Offshore jackets and platforms

In charge of the Quality assurance for all items to be manufactured. Including, Stacker reclaimer, Draglines, Pressure Vessels and Process columns

After completion of my Officers Course I was selected to stay behind in the School as Course leader in the training of new recruits to become Corporals in the Core
