I started with Prudential in 1984 processing medical claims. I then supervised a claim department for 5 years. I moved to Dallas and ran the database team before moving into Provider Relations. In Provider relations, my team managed risk arrangements. Aetna purchased Prudential and I was responsible for managing the risk arrangements for Texas. I moved to a regional role and became involved with compliance activities. I have stayed in a regional role handling various projects and currently working on the integration of Coventry Healthcare into Aetna.
