• Real Estate representative working directly with the Managing Director of GBM for all GBM real estate initiatives domestically and internationally.• Managed the temporary relocation of the banks precious metal suppository following 911 and the build of a new 15,000 square foot, $8.4 million gold and precious metal vault in Jamaica, NY. • Built state of the art trade floors and corporate offices in Canada, US, Mexico, Mumbai, Hong Kong and Singapore.• Spent over a year working on the New York offices following 911 locating immediate temporary operations and then repairing and renovating the offices at One Liberty Plaza so that the Bank could return to their original premises. Recently relocated Scotiabank’s New York operations into 250 Vesey Street, which was a $41 million dollar, 110,000 square foot, leading edge project that included UPS and EPS power, Digital Media, 400 person trade floor, audio visual and full service cafeteria.• Involvement with the build outs of GBM, BRP (back up) sites in NY and Toronto.• Managed annual capital expense forecast of over $25 million on average for all projects related to GBM.• Conceived and submitted a 3 year restacking programme that involved over 180,000 sf and a $49 million dollar budget for the GBM flagship offices in Scotia Plaza. The plan and an initial spend of approximately $8 million has been agreed to in principal by GBM executive.• Worked with Marketing to implement a rebranding of GBM corporate signage at 100+ locations globally.
