Application development for Macy's credit systems in COBOL writing and testing batch and online cics programs. Also worked for a time on a vb.net application developing, testing, and maintaining web pages used in Macy's big ticket furniture business. Experience in building and testing IBM mainframe CICS regions for Macy's testing environment.Currently working on the testing side of the house developing automated testing scripts that are written in VBScript and executed using HP's Unified Functional Testing (UFT) suite of software. I also have experience using HP's Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tool to automate the testing. My experience writing the code to automate Macy's platforms includes web pages, desktop emulators, mainframe green screens (terminal emulation), and backend file comparison validation.

Got a job working for May's at Great Lakes Data Center right out of college in 1984. Worked my way up starting in the mailing department, moved on to their Help Desk, Computer Operator, Application Programmer, and IBM Systems Programmer. When May was aquired by Federated Department Stores (now Macys) I transitioned back into Application programming.
