As a key executive leader, I consistently helped the bank reach the next level of performance. I contributed to organizational growth from 15 locations and $500M in assets (1996), to 26 locations and $1.2B in assets. I was honored to be promoted 7 times throughout my career, eventually to one of the top 3 roles in the company. I completed my time at Home Federal Bank after helping prepare the bank for acquisition by Great Western Bank.In this role, I led a significant restructuring of all policies, procedures, systems, and culture to incorporate consistency, accountability, and expectations for corporate excellence. I identified a significant need to transform the loan portfolio and reduce the company’s risk, and with the executive Board’s support, I led renovation of the loan portfolio composition and complexity which created a solid company foundation.I provided strategic oversight for all bank issued credit products, reporting directly to the CEO and Board of Directors. SVP ■ Corporate Strategy Officer | 2008 to 2011: My key focus in this role was leading strategic planning, long-term organizational alignment, and customer / investor relations.SVP ■ Retail Banking | 2005 to 2008: As SVP of Retail banking, I oversaw all locations company-wide which included up to 35 retail branch locations with 200 employees in 3 states. I managed compliance, sales, marketing and operations.
