CurrentMike established 'The Print Guy' in 2008 as a print brokerage, but over the last few years he struggled to find digital print suppliers that could meet and understand the needs of a brokerage. It was clear to him that there was a gap in the market, which heralded in the end of the brokerage and the start of a new digital print facility in Eden Terrace. The business took a complete U turn and now deals almost exclusively with people who are in the business of re-selling print. When you visit the plant in Eden Terrace you'll see a collection of some of the most modern digital print gear available, but you'll also see some older print technology, like Mike's beloved 1965 letterpress platen (seriously, you have to see this machine, she's beautiful). A team of 6 print professionals run the plant, each bringing their unique set of skills and a shared passion for print. Now known as The Print Guys, the business specialises in short to medium sized print runs, jobs requiring a high degree of finishing finesse, print for highly targeted marketing campaigns and jobs with exceptionally quick turnaround times. You'll find The Print Guys can handle most things in house, but from their brokering days, they also have a sound network of other suppliers for those clients that want them to manage the more obscure jobs and processes for them. The Print Guys deal mostly with Advertising Agencies, Graphic Designers, Print Managers and Print Brokers, and they understand better than anyone else in the business exactly what is important to people who are in the business of re-selling print.
