A a dental student, I have worked daily to maximize my educational experience by challenging myself with complex cases, undertaking new procedures, and participating in CE courses. Restorative and cosmetic dentistry were major tenants of the educational program, allowing me to develop my talent with complex fixed prosthodontics cases, implant restorations, and porcelain veneer restorations. I am proficient in oral surgery, having had extensive experience with both simple and surgical exodontia, impacted third molar extraction, pre-prosthetic surgery, and management of medically compromised patients. I am comfortable with endodontics,including molar endo as well as removable prosthodontics.

Delivered comprehensive dental care to multiple Virginia public health clinics. I worked in the development, validation, and clinical trials of ScoliScore AIS Prognostic test. Duties included high through-put SNP genotyping of patient samples and subsequent analysis, sample management, and workflow design. ScoliScore™ is the first clinically validated and commercially available saliva-based multi-gene test that provides a highly accurate assessment of the likelihood of spinal curve progression for adolescent children diagnosed with AIS, or an abnormal lateral curve of the spine.
