Eight engineers/technicians of various disciplines and a maintenance team of forty. The maintenance team included electricians, millwrights, mobile maintenance mechanics, machinist and a scrubber technician. Two maintenance supervisors, one maintenance purchaser and maintenance clerk were included in the maintenance team. Along with the maintenance team, I was ultimately responsible for the oversite of a high volume of contractors.Emphasis on team development including personal development of direct and indirect subordinates, facility continuous improvement, safety both personal and team culture. Worked closely with the Process Engineering group to achieve a quality, repeatable and cost-effective product for our customers. Installed and implemented a computer maintenance management system (CMMS) for the maintenance and engineering departments from scratch. The CMMS increased the efficiency and accuracy of work requests, asset tracking, preventative and predictive maintenance management, including breakdowns. Historical maintenance data was documented allowing for more efficient maintenance by understanding past machine issues.
