Global Process Engineer Assembly
Woerden, Utrecht, Nederland
MCi is the global market leader in designing and manufacturing next level actuators for controlled motion. Actuators for automotive and other industries. Responsible for engineering of industrial process design solutions of complex scope in order to support the organization in development through full-scale assembly production (incl outsourced engineering). Steer worldwide manufacturing plants to high process-engineering capabilities focused on cost, quality and manufacturability. Accountabilities: - Translate Product assembly requirements into Assembly Tool Requirements and concept Engineering of complex assembly processes - Evaluate and advise on proposed product designs and production lines for manufacturability (Design For Assembly/PFMEA). - Evaluate proposed assembly processes and equipment of suppliers- Establish robust, repeatable and reproducible process parameters. - Technical and communication bridge between Process Engineering and worldwide manufacturing plants- Trouble shoot process related issues.- Optimize cycle time, process and quality- Organize process and productionline (CAD) data documentation Achievements:- Integrated multiple new actuators and new versions into existing semi-automatic production lines- Implemented manual production lines for two actuators- Developed smart station on which an operator is guided in building a complete actuator. Programmed pick to light and vision system for quality checking. - Reduced cycle time of smart station from 382 seconds to 197 seconds using DMAIC (Green belt) - Build complete semi-automatic production line in Reynosa, Mexico- Imnplemented Design for Assembly tool for fully automatic production lines- Implemented the ability to upload Solidworks CAD file into WindChill PLM system using WorkGroupManager
