My role covered implementations (both DB and DC, data and calculations), support for our local administration teams, data imports and exports and creating bespoke reports.

I had a varied role which included, data conversion, data analysis, data maintenance and business analysis. I worked within a DC and DB pensions environment.

My role was based across three areas. I undertook a degree of Defined Benefits and Defined Contributions administration work. I coordinated and was the sole party in a project to improve the way the Bristol office administered Defined Contributions Pensions and I was involved in the correction of high profile schemes across several different sites.

I started my career in Defined Contributions Administration. From here I quickly progressed from a solely BAU administration job to eventually work almost exclusively in a projects environment. In particular, I became a lead employee for the coordination and running of the Annual Benefit Statement production team. In the latter part of my time I had progressed to a Pensions Technician.
