Achieved by reducing overall complexity through firewall policy consolidation, NSRP, multiple virtual routers with BGP & OSPF routing and route redistribution.○ Increased supportability, availability and reliability that resulted in zero downtime since being implemented.● Responsible for managing the hardware and software lifecycle for SunGard’s Managed Firewall/VPN Service offering on the Cisco ASA/PIX and Juniper ScreenOS platforms. Included device and software code selection/certification through to the creation of process and procedural documentation detailing implementation, troubleshooting, modification/change, backup/restore, upgrade, configuration best practices, and decommission.● Technical escalation point for Tier II/III teams responsible for operational support of the Managed Firewall/VPN Service comprising over 1200 Cisco PIX/ASA and Juniper/NetScreen firewall and VPN solutions deployed across a diverse, worldwide customer base.● Technical project lead responsible for the selection and implementation of the HP Network Automation system.
