Provide individual, group, and family therapy to active, retired, and veteran military members suffering from trauma related to combat, sexual assault, and childhood abuse and neglect. Also provide treatment for depression, chemical dependence and other severe issues. I am trained and experienced with CPT, DBT, solution focused, experiential / somatic, and emotion focused therapies. I use Object Relations and attachment theories to inform my therapeutic approach.

As the Chief of the Mobilization and Readiness Branch for the Utah National Guard, I answered directly to the Director of Operations and the Adjutant General for Utah concerning the combat and operational readiness of Army units to support the Department of the Army mission and missions required by the Governor of the State of Utah. I oversaw the designation of Army units for mobilization and coordinated with other Joint Staff elements in the successful mobilization and demobilization process of the units themselves. I served as the staff officer directly responsible to assess and report the readiness of Army units to the Department of the Army and to National Guard Bureau.I served as the strategic planner supporting the Director of Operations and developed initial Balanced Scorecard framework through coordination with the Joint Staff, senior commands and State of Utah planners. Also assisted in identifying and developing mission roles for Utah National Guard units to support the State of Utah emergency and contingency plans. Served as the Battle Captain in charge of the Battle Staff of the Joint Operations Center during domestic emergencies, training exercises and planning.

Worked with DIA and 10th SFGA in Irbil, Kurdistan and with ISG in Baghdad.

Oversaw planning, preparation, budgeting and conduct of training and operations for a fully engaged military intelligence battalion and brigade. Created budget projections and managed budgets when allocated. Conducted liaison with military and government agencies - US Army worldwide, USMC, USN, DIA, NSA and other organizations. Created cooperative training agreements and support agreements to facilitate MI and military linguist training and intelligence support operations to military commands worldwide. Interrogations, strategic debriefer.Created criteria to manage unit readiness, prepared unit readiness reports, conducted extensive evaluations of unit readiness, personnel readiness and personnel recruitment and retention. Played basketball at lunch.

Small unit leader over a 16 Marine medium machinegun section and a 40 Marine rifle platoon in training and combat operations during Desert Shield/Storm. Experience in small unit operations, light infantry operations, infiltration operations, demolitions, direct and indirect fire support. E/2/7 - 2nd BN 7th Marines, first to go, last to know. 2nd to none.... Nothing was too good for 7th Marines and nothing was what they gave us...

No one really knows for sure..... intelligence operations, analysis, counterintelligence and counterinsurgency operations, support to counternarcotics operations, training, sweeping and motorpool expertise.
