Living a healthy life and showing others how to do the same is what drives me. I qualified as a Physiotherapist in 1991 and loved the whole area of rehab, branching out into Pilates in the late 90’s. With a desire to help more people, 2 decisions led to an incredible change in direction. Spotting a gap in the market, I produced a number of Pilates videos; 2 of which becoming international best sellers! Helping healthy people stay well was becoming my focus rather than trying to make the sick or injured well again. So, when an opportunity came along that allowed me to build an additional retail income and also improved the health of existing clients, I was excited. While my partner focussed on the Pilates business, I specialised in sports massage. Together we jointly built a business retailing health, nutrition, weight management, skincare + sports performance products with an established Direct Sales company. I’d never thought of myself as a sales person, but I’d sold my therapy services. Recommending products that I used and rated came naturally. The company is called Forever Living Products (FLP).I have been with FLP for over 12 years now. I have grown a team of likeminded professionals who also want to develop a retail income of their own alongside the service they provide. I have supported over 4000 individuals to develop their own retail business under the 'Forever Living Products' banner. Personal Trainers, Gym Owners, Triathlon Coaches, , Beauticians, Hairdressers, Massage and Therapists of all types; we teach people how to talk about and share the products that they can easily and comfortably promote to their client base. An Ironman triathlete myself, I attract many multisport athletes for sports massage. I therefore mainly share the sports performance + recovery products. Alongside my work with FLP, my passion for multisport events as a hobby has grown. I now represent Team GB in my age group in the sport of duathlon and I also do middle distance triathlon for fun! With my friend and high performance coach Matt Turnbull, we have created a platform for people who want to give triathlon a try! We have called it First Tri .... it's like 'Couch to 5k' for triathlon. The popularity of the sport has gone stratisferric in the UK since the last Olympics. First Tri is here to coach and support anyone who fancies giving it a go. With my Physiotherapy background and special interest in sports nutrition combined with Matt's British Triathlon Level 3 coaching qualification, we are your athlete-coach duo.
