I am an Engineer with an MBA who has real world experience in Sales and Operations across international borders. I have worked in product engineering, technical product management, and operations for a highly engineered product line - as well as running my own small business.I enjoy helping people understand the challenges and opportunities of working with technology - whether it's developing a world-class technical product, improving internal processes or simply improving one's web presence.

Buying Simmons Hockey was an opportunity to apply what I learned during my MBA program and 15 years of corporate management, manufacturing, process development and strategic planning to a direct-to-consumer manufacturing company. The most important efforts were in overhauling the manufacturing process and supply chain. I also learned a great deal about insurances, taxes, networking, the importance of brand value and digital marketing.- Established a business in NYS- Experience working with the Small Business Administration - Relocated manufacturing from Canada to Buffalo, NY- By applying 5S and 6 sigma principals I was able to reduce production times by ~20%- Managed the website, updates, SEO and mastered the google search console- Partnered with subject matter experts to write blog posts that add value to customers’ buying process while driving traffic through SEO and cross posting.- Marketing experience using Facebook Business Suite tools, Google, Bing and Mail Chimp- Established and promoted Google business review page

Overseeing the Kathabar Dehumidification Division, I was accountable for all areas of sales, application engineering, design, project management, and service functions including managing a global sales and support network. This required me to travel to Asia and Europe, where I have managed sales representatives and after-sales support networks as well as licensed manufacturers of our products.Additionally, I was responsible for corporate compliance, export control, contract negotiations, and risk management. During my tenure in this position, the Division set records in revenue. We were able to expand the company’s global footprint by emphasizing sales in China, India, Denmark, Singapore, Mexico, Colombia, and the E.U.

I was selected to lead the turnaround of a failing company, which I was instrumental in acquiring. Within one year, we successfully transformed a plummeting business into a profitable entity by boosting capital sales 300% and focusing on existing customer revenue streams. Additionally, I spearheaded the creation of business processes that delivered strong improvements in sales volume and cost reduction.

Through recognized progression within the company, my role developed to leading the design and engineering of custom, specialized HVAC systems for a variety of customers across North America. Boosted by a series of technology enhancements, including a strategic patent, we delivered improved efficiency. Additionally, I was instrumental in acquiring as a customer a top 5 brewery to our technology and created long-standing relationship with this new customer.
