Projects I'm particularly proud of include:✦ Establishing and verifying a company's first-ever database Recovery Time Objective (RTO) and Recovery Point Objective (RPO). These policies ensure that the business understands and agrees on what acceptable database downtime and data loss are.✦ Creating a Qlik BI dashboard where I utilized data from IoT manufacturing devices and used T-SQL windowing functions to get the current state (either up or down) of production machines and how long they had been in that state. The dashboard was displayed on production monitors throughout the facilities enabling production supervisors to have easy visibility into problematic equipment.✦ Designing a database to track the workflow of pre-manufacturing events, which enabled better cross-department communication and visibility into upcoming work.IT leader:✦ Led efforts to upgrade a company's databases, ensuring regulatory compliance and adopting new database product features available in the upgraded versions.✦ Technical lead on creating a warehouse inventory tracking system in several warehouses spanning multiple facilities and states. This provided visibility into the state and location of raw materials and reduced time-consuming and inaccurate manual processes.✦ Technical lead on various development and database efforts, which led to roles as both a Software Development Manager and a Database Engineering Manager.
