My teams often hear me use the “surfing vs scuba diving” metaphor. I dive deep into the areas where I need to generate leverage for the business. Similarly, I reflect deeply on failures.My playbook for driving exponential growth is an offensive mindset strategy driven by 1) starting with “why” and connecting it to what the ICP is nervous about 2) aligning GTM teams (marketing and sales) on accounts, segments, and regions 3) enacting PLG as a foundation layer with the product team but more importantly, building a successful enterprise business on top of it 4) Lastly, assembling the team of winners who have grit, ability to thrive in an ambiguous and unstructured environment, resilient mindset, and high EQ.
