• Lead the development and implementation of full strategic vision for the dLOC, aligning all planning with the program’s mission to position it as one of the premier global partnership- and capacity-building programs of its kind.• Oversee & manage daily administrative operations, serving 79 regional partners, program partnerships, and community organizations while simultaneously establishing & nurturing productive communities of practice.• Govern a team of 32 in executing the program’s strategic vision, cultivating abilities to foster capacity building, equitable inclusivity, collaborations, and experiences for the scholarly research community, the general public, government, and non-government institutions.• Align program initiatives with strategic University priorities, acquiring vital program support through strong interdisciplinary coordination with University units; achieved an Emerging Preeminent Program designation with the Kimberly Green Latin American and Caribbean Center at FIU.• Advise on preservation & access best practices, encompassing: project management, technical specifications, archival and digitization standards for cultural heritage materials, scholarly research, and digital humanities projects.• Direct the forecasting, management, and administration of complex budgets between $5K – 1.2M, inclusive of all preparation, justification, reporting, and execution of budget allocations among multiple reporting systems.• Build strategic partnerships with diverse stakeholders to create global collaborative opportunities; implement communications plans, technical reports, social media strategies, website content, marketing, public relations, press releases, articles, and briefs tailored to specific audiences.• Pioneer the redesign of the program’s marketing & branding strategies, successfully increasing engagement with scholarly community and boosting online website engagement by more than 350% from 1.5M monthly views to 7M monthly views.

• Headed the design, development, and implementation of University-wide initiative for mass digitization of research and classroom instruction materials, building key strategic partnerships within a diverse group of University stakeholders, libraries, museums, and colleges.• Secured $1.2M in Tech Fee grants as the co-writer, enabling the construction of centralized mass-digitization services for access and preservation of cultural heritage archive materials for research, teaching, and learning.• Collaborated with a team of 6 to set project goals and benchmarks of success, guiding digitization project implementation with clear communication, continuous performance assessment, and thoughtful risk management. • Drove engagement with external partner institutions on behalf of FIU, facilitating training and workshops designed to enhance and build additional capacity for the international partner community.• Entrusted with managing multiple concurrent team-based projects, coordinating with diverse internal and external stakeholders to ensure critical production and project deliverables were met on time and within budget and scope. • Served as Department Representative on various committees, advisories, and taskforces as appropriate.
