In this player-coach role, Mike oversaw go-to-market strategy and execution for Gridwise's data licensing business. Prior to Gridwise, Mike was an early member of the sales team at SafeGraph, a geospatial data company that helps customers understand the places in the physical world and how people interact with them.Prior to SafeGraph, Mike was a senior member of the Data Licensing Business Development group at Oracle Data Cloud, which Mike joined via Oracle's acquisition of AddThis in January 2016. At AddThis, Mike was responsible for leading and scaling the global data licensing business, growing the division's revenue 4X and customer base 10X. Prior to AddThis, Mike held senior positions within the sales and customer service organizations at Google and TIG Global (acquired by Micros, acquired by Oracle).Mike is also an active angel investor and/or advisor for a portfolio of high-growth data-driven ventures including Popwallet (acquired by Snap in October 2021) and Fantix. Mike graduated from Georgetown University with a BSBA in New/Small Business Management and Marketing, and a minor in Psychology. At Georgetown, Mike was involved in various extracurricular activities, including playing 4 years on the Men's Ice Hockey Team. Mike has also studied at The University of Oxford.
