With the wisdom experienced from the Sundance Film Labs, Mike and Jason Marchi (Founder) ignited this international writing contest, in association with Francis Ford Coppola's All Story Magazine. Categories included: Short stories, novel excerpts, screenplays and plays. The NCWA awarded over $50,000 in cash prizes along with sending the 1st place winner to FFC's writing retreat in Belize. This organization also provided guidance and support in starting many careers and producing several films.

Responsible for conceiving advertising campaigns for the Utah state markets. All campaigns were effective in radio, TV spots and print. Won an ADDY award in 1997 for Best Broadcast Commercial.

Directed commercials for TV broadcast and radio spots. Created copy and scripts which translated across the entire ad campaign: TV commercials, print and radio. Won an ADDY award for "Best Written Commercial" in 1997 for the Mountain America Credit Union campaign.
