I guess it all started with a pad and a pencil. Drawn to design, I spent my early years pursuing a career in aircraft design. While at university I met people who helped me to work out just what constitutes a fulfilling career.Making the switch to AV I worked on site doing everything from stripping and testing wires in the rain to programming systems for Princes and stately homes. Finding a talent for the programming side that was my path and that lead me to the door of the top AV control system manufacturer in the world. Crestron.Building on the knowledge of site I worked Technical support and training for many years passing on what I had learnt and worked on curriculum developments and teaching. Eventually taking the role of Head of training for the UK and more recently managing training for EMEA.I have a certification in Crestron Programming and experience in many programming languages which my role gives me a chance to flex when meeting different programmers across the group.I spearheaded development of trainings within Crestron EMEA, working with my US colleagues and EMEA team to ensure that all of our dealers are at the highest standards possible.Travelling, providing training and support to our offices and outlying sales locations. Building a system to better coordinate training and to store training records for our customers so we can design better classes to support our customers needs in the field.I am now working as a Senior programmer within Lucid partnership. This is enabling me to continue my exploration of coding in C# and Simpl# plus fresh challenges await.Specialities: Training, Coaching, Programming of Control Systems, Management, and Teamwork.
