onsite at 3M Canada, London, ON-Developed and maintained the Enterprise Order Center, 3M's global e-commerce site for 3M users and channel partners-Sole developer responsible for new development and maintenance of the Electronic Invoice Presentation and Payment system, which processes over $1 billion yearly.-Key leader in the adoption of software development best practices in areas such as requirement gathering and analysis, unit/functional testing and continuous integration.-Established the effort to re-architect the EOC admin site, converting it to a MVC architecture more consistent with best practices.-Initiated the development of several rich client applications using AJAX, javascript and the Yahoo User Interface Toolkit.-Created a custom eclipse/RAD plug-in to automate the creation of dynamic cacheing proxies, eliminating the development overhead in implementing caching and resulting in greatly reduced development time.

-16-month internship position at RIM’s Advanced Technologies Group in Mississauga as part of Western’s Internship program.-Worked on BlackBerry MDS Studio, an application based on the Eclipse Rich Client Platform and a part of the BlackBerry Mobile Data System, which allowed easy creation and deployment of web services onto BlackBerry mobile devices.-Initial responsibilities included the creation of a test harness capable of manipulating SWT UI elements and running automated test suites on the nightly build.-Using JUnit, Ant and an incomplete Abbot SWT framework, worked to create a test harness for the application and a test suite to run with the nightly build.-Also responsible for creating the software update feature, RCP and Plug-in contribution management as well as aiding development of other critical areas of the tool.
