As a Technology Strategist, I help improve technology capabilities of a client by analyzing existing practices, standards, systems, vendors, and partners for strengths and weakness. I drive discovery activities along with client services and program management counterparts, resulting in clearly defined business, functional, and operational requirements. Leveraging learnings from discovery, I inform the roadmap for implementation, execution, and support activities. This includes supporting Salesforce Health Cloud and Marketing Cloud implementations across brand marketing and patient services programs in the pharmaceutical industry.

Responsibilities include the definition of requirements and development of wireframes for websites, corporate web applications, mobile-optimized websites, and mobile applications in the pharmaceutical industry. This involves specifying logical data elements, outlining system and business processes, defining business requirements, creating screen layouts, developing interface specifications, and detailing technical functionality.

Assisted the Business Analyst team in data research and designed and implemented Oracle database structure changes in support of an effort to get Davita's electronic healthcare records software a government certification (CCHIT) allowing its customers to receive stimulus funds for utilizing it.

Nov 2008 thru Present - Contracted at Embarq. Technical lead and Project Manager supporting a customized component of a COTS package which is a reporting piece of an application which handles the dispatching of service order for local telephone customers. This application contains reports written in PL/SQL which accesses an Oracle database.July 2008 thru Nov 2008 - Contracting with Verizon Wireless. Application developer supporting an application which processed long distance telephone service orders for business customers. This is a Java application with an Oracle database.Nov 2003 thru July 2008 -Contracting at Sprint/Nextel. Technical lead and Project Manager for several applications which supported the local and long distance networks. These applications performed functions to include the processing of customer service orders and tracking of network inventory and ownership. Languages and technologies for these applications include COBOL, Java, Javascript, JSP, HTML, CICS, DB2, and VSAM.

While working at Sprint I performed the duties of an Application Developer for several applications which support the Sprint network. These applications performed functions to track long distance calls, track network access invoices from other carriers, and track network inventory and ownership. Languages and technologies for these applications include COBOL, CICS, Java, Javascript, HTML, PL/SQL, Korn shell scripting, Natural, and ADABAS.

While serving in the Marine Corps I performed the duties of an Application Developer supporting several financial systems. These systems tracked obligated, committed, and completed payments for the individual units. I was discharged honarably in 1999 achieving the rank of Corporal.
