I currently work as a Clinical Research Associate at Covance in Princeton, NJ.I completed my Master's in Business and Science degree in Drug Discovery and Development at Rutgers University. The program is designed to provide a background in science fields as well as business so that I may develop a better understanding of the pharmaceutical industry that I want work in. During my undergraduate studies at Virginia Tech, I worked for two years in the lab studying the genetic effects of Eimeria Maxima and Eimeria Acervulina simultaneous infections. This experience, along with the education I have and continue to receive through my courses, have set me along a path to pursue the research side of the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. I am interested in learning how different drugs and technologies affect the human body or that of a model organism.
