I currently lead a team of 14 very bright people that are good at finding ways to leverage emerging trends and technologies that drive business and increase efficiency. Having significantly contributed to our increasing revenue trend, I am also responsible for growing our team while being careful to nurture and maintain our team culture. I expect to add several people over the next 18 months as business continues to expand.While our digital advertising and marketing business continues to increase, I've also lead the creation of a SaaS (Software as a Service) business which is growing into its own department with its own dedicated team. Our SaaS products are currently in use across North America and now make up significant part of our revenue. In the same way that the lines between marketing and customer service and business operations are changing, so are the solutions we provide. In many cases, we provide solutions that help businesses in ways they didn't even know were possible.

During this time I worked closely with senior leadership to establish the idea that in order to be a successful digital agency, we had to be more than just another web development shop. Starting with the launch of our first on-line promotional game for Mac's Convenience Stores (a pirate themed multi-player take on the popular board game: Battleship), I began to lead SIX12 towards specializations in contests, gamification, and customer experience. The contests and promotions we built created opportunities to embed data-driven insights. Using POS integration and store specific tracking, we developed algorithms to report on individual store execution, providing valuable insights to management teams. I became responsible for all aspects of large, technically complex projects and campaigns. Projects include multiplayer promotional games, contests with prize pools in excess of $1 Million, community websites with 250,000+ users, and custom retail business solutions.

I was originally hired by SIX12 as a graphic designer and worked on many traditional print and food packaging projects for clients like Save-on-Foods, Moulding & Millwork (now Metrie), and Wesgroup Properties. While I wasn't specifically brought on to develop the web and digital side of the business, this was a clear opportunity and I began to push SIX12 to take on more challenging digital projects, pitching them to clients and leading their successful completion.

I've been a member and on-air DJ for CiTR since 1994. My current show, Trancendance, has been on-air since 2001.
