My career has taken a number of interesting turns but, broadly speaking, I have worked in the technology sector for the past 20 years in both public and private organisations. Whilst I have plenty of experience I also love to learn to see if I can do things better.With my professional hat on I’m never happier than when I’m working with others to enable businesses to reach their potential and be successful. Always up for a challenge, I am excited by innovative opportunities and driven by providing solutions to problems.However, my true passion is people. I'm a pretty good listener and love to find out what makes a person tick. Everyone has a story and it truly is a privilege when someone feels comfortable enough to share theirs with me. Building positive relationships is something that's integral to life, not just business, so it's something I value immensely. Over the course of my life and career I've discovered that change is an inevitability, so I can either embrace it and be an agent of change, or sit back and let it happen to me. Having experienced both, I much prefer the former so jump at any opportunity to get involved with things that can have a positive impact in either my personal or business life.On the personal front I love to spend time outdoors on bikes, at the beach or playing sports. I've run a few half marathons. I’m also a qualified junior rugby coach.
